On this episode of Board Games with Scott, BGWS correspondent Matt Carlson takes a turn and explores World of Warcraft, the Boardgame as well as the Shadows of War expansion.

You can enjoy this episode over at
http://www.boardgameswithscott.com/?p=69

Special Note! I'll be at Origins. There is a Meet the Boardgame Broadcasters panel Saturday morning at 10AM that I'll be on, and will be happy to go out to lunch with BGWS viewers afterwards. I'll also be spending a lot of time in the Board Room.

oh well, i was really expecting to see Scott as an elf, or gnome or...

hmm, i think you'll need to redeem yourself with something like runebound where a good costume can be a invoked
:D

i'm about half way through, and so far so good. still a 5 hour game is probably out of my realm of a playable/purchasable game...but we'll see.

Hmm, so you're saying I need a costume? I felt the inverse-carrot theme was enough color for one day...

We had a bet going as to which game would be Scott's next video review. I figured Colosseum. Nobody picked this one... no one loses.

what can i say, after the previous episodes featuring exciting in costume intro's the bar has been set very HIGH.

going from blueman group style face paint to orange hair...just isn't cutting in today's cut throat boardgame pod/videoCasting. but we're a forgiving crowd, so next time out we'll expect something magical.

no pressure...

Well, let's make it more interesting for next time.

Assuming all goes well, I plan to cover another game that's been out for a while. It will feature an interview with a designer that I met at Essen 2006.

Scott
No worries. I'm home now, so I can sit back and check this out.
(besides I thought it would have been odd to review the expansion of the computer game anyway :D)

Bummer... I did another one or two guest correspondance bits on kid's games, so "next time out" is taken if Scott ends up using those at some point...

I'll have to think about what I might wear if/when I try guesting again...

Hey scott. I've just set up an rss feed downloader thingy after previously just downloading your show manually and I noticed, the rss feed is for the low quality version. Is there an rss feed for the high quality version ?

Nope. The best way to do that is to get an RSS feed for the blog itself, which will have a link to the high-quality version. http://feeds.feedburner.com/boardgameswithscott
