I like the Call to Arms cards. They effectively function the same as when the humans were the main race. Specialist cards will replace most human units.
I do like them, but thought it would have been better to have a Goblin only Call to Arms deck.
I thought it was great that they were included in the HH release.
I really do hope that they expand Battlelore beyond its current three races. I think it has too much unrealised potential (and Borg has so many great races already created that I want to use!) that it would seem a real shame (and missed opportunity) to pass up on it.
Listening to Kouba try and answer questions about Battlelore on the D6 podcast made me very nervous. He didn't seem to want to give much away about what's coming after the Dwarf expansion (if anything).
So I would suggest everyone to buy HH to show FFG that people do want Battlelore to continue.
That's a shame. Hopefully he was just shy because FFG don't seem to like giving away too much too soon. I too would love to see this game supported to realise it's potential. Race specific CtA decks like the HH ones would be great. A scenario book following a similar pattern to the Memoir campaign books or even the Tide of Iron scenario book would be fantastic. More on the setting - or a fully fledged fantasy setting of it's own.
