How are people applying these? I was sort of expecting them to be more clearly separated into color groups for each set of disks, but they were not, and now I'm left uncertain as to how exactly to use them. Any thoughts?

Hi,

I think it's your decision which of them to use and which not. Because of the fact, that you can see through them you still will be able to see which colour the tokan with the sticker has. So it's on your own.

I didn't even put them on my tokens, cause I use Carcassonne meeples instead.

I'm wondering what to do with them too... I like the idea of Meeples instead - but now we've bought the stickers.... and wooden tokens of which there are too few!

I used the little Alien guy on a disc, and the Werewolf on the back of the same one. I regularly use some wooden tokens I purhased from Michaels for the family members, so I had discs left over. Those two have uses with their "designation" that'll be helpful. (I can't imagine the odds of using both those sets together AND having them both drawn AND in use; anyone care to try and figure that?)

But, I'm holding off on using the others until I uncover some good uses for them. That is, extra workers, or temporary functions. I'd be interested in other ideas, also.

The stickers are a cool idea but I, too, don't really want to use them. I just play with the normal game disks, but I have no real desire to designate one a man, one a woman, and three children. Sure it's a cute idea, but I am rather sick of gendered games. Keeping them all ambiguous disks works just fine for me. That leaves me with the obvious problem of should I keep the sticker sheet just to keep it or should I try to ebay it and make some of my money back? I already need to sell two Ö-decks and an X-deck. Too bad the crappy paper cutter at Lookout screwed up my Goodies Ö-deck by cutting too close to the X-deck cards that were apparently beside some of them. About 1/3 of my Ö-deck has slightly green edges on one side. Ugh.

Hi,

just put them on the coloured playerdiscs.
A lot of the stickers are the same but mirrored and different colours.
I chose to put the similar ones on the 2 sides of the same playerdiscs.
There are far more men than women so be sure to use them wisely.
What is left is reserve..
It looks kinda nice when playing with the stickers.

I have the same problem. I wonder how many others this happened to.

Same here - though not really noticeable unless looking at the deck side-on.

In case anyone comes across this old thread wondering about the miscut, I just picked up a copy the other day and the problem seems to have been resolved.
