Huh, I just realized you never got the corresponding microbadge for this honor.

I'm pretty sure the badge is awarded after my weeks up.

No you should have it already as you are suppossed to display it all week.

I noticed that Hunga didn't get his till his week was up. I checked a couple times because I knew I was following him.

Perhaps that have changed it then. I got mine straight away from Octavian.

I think it's a screw-up. The current GOTW is supposed to display it in the middle slot so people know who the current GOTW is...

Good! I just started reading the rules to Fire in the East. If you're ever visiting Los Angeles...

If I'm in L.A. I'll look you up for sure J.L.!
On the rules fof FitE if I recall correctly they are updated and fixed in the Scorched Earth rule book. The rules on German supply in FitE were to severe making it impossible for them to win. With the SE rules it was very historical.

Tell ya what? You teach Fire in the East and Der Weltkrieg, I'll teach The Russian Campaign and Squad Leader (regular or Advanced). And you can visit Disneyland.

Billy,

We know your love for east front WWII, and the OCS, so...

1. How does the East Front Series from GMT compare?

2. How does Columbia's Eastfront compare?

Thanks,

Jeff

Thanks for the answers ... and you did good to remind me that you play more than WWII EF and WWi West

Here's another tidbit for you to contemplate.

If you had infinite time (fantasize) but you were tasked to adapt the OCS system to any a pre-twentieth century operation ... what era/setting/or theater would you choose?

Have you had a chance to play Osmanli Harbi The Ottoman Fronts: 1914 to 1918 ? Is it a good entry point to weltkrieger?

Which do you prefer Panzergruppe Guderian or A Victory Denied? What do you see as their strengths and weaknesses?

You wake up in Jail. I'm there. What do you say to me in four words or less?

(Hint: I say "here we are again" or "you got Case Blue?", I haven't decided which)

If that's the unwritten law, you'd better have a word with Grognads.

I have never played the EFS but I have to assume I would love it. I'll get around to this eventually!

If I was going to adapt OCS to another era that would be a no-brainer. Tannenberg ,Schlieffen Plan definitely some First World War scenarios!

PGG or AVD? I say both!!

As for OCS adaptation ... I asked for PRE-TWENTIETH CENTURY because I knew you jump on WWI otherwise ;-)

I haven't played Osmanli Harbi The Ottoman Fronts: 1914 to 1918 yet. Its the only one of the series still on my to play list. The best entry point is Tannenberg: Eagles in the East / Galicia: The Forgotten Cauldron.

As for OCS I don't think its appropriate for pre-20th century but who knows. OCS WW1 would be cool though!
