The project made it's $16,000 funding goal this morning with 11 days to spare! Congratulations to the team at Game Company #3! I'm really jazzed to see that this great game will finally make it into production.

I'm also hoping that now that the project has made it's goal there will be a bunch of additional "safe bet" pledges. If you haven't backed this game, there's a lot to love so give it a shot.

I was really excited to place an order but an additional $20 to ship to Canada was just too much and turned me off

Thanks everyone!

I know the shipping costs outside the US are steep. Once the game is out I'll be in touch with European distributors to see about getting it over there. I'd be happy to license it to European company for translations, too.

We'll be going to print in October or November, so the game will be shipping to distributors in December or January.

Once it's sent off to the printer, we'll send solicitations to the distributors (for the US and Canada).

Dave,

Your game looks great. Can you comment on the components which will be used in the production version of the game. Will there be wooden pawns/pieces used for the major and minor delegates ?

Thanks.

Re: Oh My God! This game has been Kickstarted!
Thanks Annie!

Sorry for the delayed response, been dealing with a bunch of stuff the last couple of days.

The Great Power Delegates will be printed on boards with stands, each one will have a unique illustration of their character on both front and back, and the bodyguards will be able to hold the molded plastic axes.

The Minor Delegates and Swiss Delegate will be plastic pawns. I'd love to use wood pawns, but we can only afford to do a small print run (2500 copies as of this date), and without the bulk discounts of a larger run of 10,000+, wood is just too expensive. If we used wood pawns, we'd have to charge $55-$60 a game.

There's a photo of the setup on the most recent kickstarter update: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/gamecompany3/oh-my-god-t...

Yes Asia too Looks like $50 shipping...*cry*
I just read about this game from browsing Kickstarter (I just joined), and the name of the game drew me in. But realized I was too late.

So I'd definitely like to buy a copy (English) if it comes to Asia
(Japan..hint )

I'm working on setting up a pre-order system (and once the game is out, an order system), so you're not too late to get a copy of the game!

There's not much I can do about the shipping costs. If you found people to order multiple copies with, you could all split the shipping for a larger package, that would reduce it a lot.
