Well, it started like this: I opened the shrink wrap and was missing the Blue Block for Cleo.
So I dug through my Columbia Games extra bits and put her on a whitle block. It was lovely.
Then I thought, "Hey, ya know what? These tan Pompey stickers would look good on those barf coloured blocks!" And I was right! They looked very cool, awesome, I was pleased!
I was so happy that I almost danced a jig.
And then it happened. I placed the first Red Caesar sticker on a green block and realized I would have to make an army of gaudy Christmas ornaments. And when done sticking the units together I realized that looking at the green and red units triggered some kind of subliminal "warning" instinct, much like a black and yellow hornet might.
So, now I will need to paint the sides and sticker border area with black or maroon/dark red paint just so I can look at the units and remain at peace with the universe.
Lesson learned. Let the pros pick the colours... (Though Cleopatra is quite dashing in white!)
