This week in Board Games with Scott, a video blog or vlog, I take a look at Santiago, a tile-laying bidding bribing temporary alliances game.

BGWS 009 - Santiago (and Contest Reminder!)
(Note - if you are on a high-speed connection, you might want to try the new high-quality version, located at the bottom of the list of file types.)
In case you missed it, you still have a few days to enter the "Why Did the Chicken..." contest! Play Along with Scott for a chance to win a free copy of the game! You'll have to watch Episode 008 for details - http://boardgameswithscott.blogspot.com/2006/02/bgws-008-why...
(note - Even if you think your answer is not any good, go ahead and enter; humor is a wacky (wocka wocka) thing.)
Finally, there are several ways to find BGWS episodes. You can always visit http://boardgameswithscott.com, and there are links at the bottom of the left column to get BGWS notification by e-mail, ITunes, RSS, or Atom.
I've started a Geeklist with all of the games and links to reviews at http://boardgamegeek.com/geeklist/13268 (which you could Add as Favorite, which then sends you GeekMail when there's a new posting). I'm also submitting each episde as a review attached to the appropriate game.
just wanted to say thanks for making these videos. i just watched the santiago one (a game i've already played), and i thought it was great. currently downloading the friedrich and hoity toity episodes. if this sort of content was available for every game, decisions about what to get would be easy!
great video, i really want the game now, and the friedrich podcast made me really want that too.
Silence is Golden, but Duct Tape is Silver
Thanks Scott for adding more light to this wonderful Dark Horse or a game. It's sorely needed.
