hi,
just played TR for 2 days. I am not sure if this strategy really works. It worked for me every time.

* keep the easiest two tickets in the beginning. discard long routes.
* always draw 2 train cards. draw locomotive if you absolutely have to..

The goal is to end the game as FAST as possible. (of course in a stealthy way, e.g. claim big 6 or 8 routes in the last few turns to give the opponent no chance of reacting). So most of the time, the opponent leaves a lot of trains unused and unfinished tickets. Except the two easy tickets you have to finish, you can do whatever you want if your only goal is to finish all your trains as fast as possible. So it is very easy to effectively utilize all the train cards you have drawn.. no waste.

what do you think? and what is the counter stragegy in this case?
thx
