Agreed on the Microbadge - really good. Excellent contest and some very good entries. Next year? Perhaps... we'll see - what do you think Rebekah?

Watch out for some news about Inspector Moss: House Arrest next year...

I'm excited to hear the news. But I must confess I'm more excited to see your entry for next year's contest, "Inspector Moss 3: Mystery of the Zombie Carnage." You know that 100 GG reward from Mark is too tempting to pass up!

laugh Considering the fact that I had to retheme Zombie in my Pocket to Fairy Tale in my Pocket before I could play it, I think you'd be more likely to see Inspector Moss 3: The Case of the Princess in Peril!

And I really like the microbadge--thanks!

Well shoot. I guess my idea for "Inspector Zed: A brain for clues" with Rebekah won't come to pass.

Capone Says is now available. Played a lot of games of this to test it extensively. Works great. The interface is a bit convoluted as there was a lot of information to present and the game has you doing something that was not typical of something you would do on vassal (specifically dropping cubes on the board), so I had to come up with something that would work and be intuitive.

An explanation of the the module can be found on the last page of the rules in picture form and in the "Notes about this module" tab.

Re: Solitaire Print and Play Contest
Awesome! Thanks for continuing to make Vassal modules for these games Chad! I've updated the first post (first time I've done that in awhile) with the link to the Vassal Module.

And now for the long awaited Vassal module for this wonderful game from one of the best people I have seen in the design forums.

Nate, I am a fan of your cheerful posts throughout these forums and I wanted to do this module for a long time. So here it is:

The Vassal Module for Derelicts of Sin: Heresy

https://docs.google.com/open?id=0B0WBVnUE4NbHbXMtcGRfMUFUNGV...

Note to all that there is not much of an image for this module. The reason for that is that this module is mostly text. I tried to keep it as close to the original game as possible. There is an eerie background image and that is it. The full rules and text for each room can be found in the module. Please try this game. It is awesome!!!

I've done an interview on the 1 Player Podcast about the Solitaire Print and Play contest. In addition to the discussion about the contest, there is a review of Raider 16: Atlantis which won the 2011 Best Wargame award.

Direct link to show.

Chris, you've just brought tears to my eyes (of laughter, of course):

"...it was a sequel to a game that the designer had made previously, I don’t think that game was terribly well known, and from talking with the designer, I've never played it, and the designer said yeah, it’s not very good..."

Super interview and thanks for the laugh

I felt bad as soon as I said that and was rather hoping that might be edited out. There was certainly a better way of saying that you don't need to play the first game to enjoy the sequel but I didn't express that terribly well in the podcast. I'm sorry about that! Now I feel like I should go check out the original Inspector Moss Investigates.

No need to apologise! I enjoyed it and it made me laugh - I was listening through headphones and my wife gave me a strange look as I started laughing.

Don't try out the original Inspector Moss though... it’s still not very good... However, I'm sure we'll let you know when it is safe to try

For those that are interested, Rebekah and I are thinking about possible ways to integrate multi-player options for Inspector Moss: House Arrest. We have a couple of possible ways to do this, but if you have any thoughts on how to do this, we would welcome your input: N/A.

GEEKSTARTER

Rebekah Bissell and I are struggling with signing up a cold-blooded callous killer for the co-op version of Inspector Moss: House Arrest, the 2011 Solitaire PnP Contest winner. Please take a look at our GEEKSTARTER project and consider backing.

Thanks for your support.

Edit: If it can be done after GeekStarter has ended, we will endeavour to honour the pledge levels.

Not sure I get it. Is this Bill character based on someone at BGG as a jab? April First is such a weird day on the Interwebz.

The purpose of the project is to give a very small sneak peek at the multi-player version. I just thought that GeekStarter was a great way to provide a limited time sneak-peek

Bill is actually a hidden reference to 2 people Having said that, any implied reference to anyone else other than those 2 persons is purely coincidental and definitely not intended as a jab (the lost house reference has always been in this particular back-story). Anyway, as usual, Bill's back-story has other hidden references (just like the back-stories of the other suspects have). Nothing sinister, just a bit of fun.
