Thanks Ryan. Was great to work with you on Trollhalla. I am really looking forward to receiving my Kickstarter copy of Empires of the Void.

The Unboxing video you posted yesterday was impressive.

None probs, funny thing is I'd buy that game.

Actually, my serious answer would have to be a theme that is highly interactive with a great narriative arc. As I am drawn to ancient Roman themed games, I would love to see a good gladiator games which would be semi-cooperative as player compete in battle with the possibility of teaming up to increase their odds of staying alive or leaving an opponent high and dry at a critical moment. I have more thoughts on this but don't want to expose too much as this is something I would like to pursue more with a potential design of my own. I wonder if a game like this already exists ???

Oh man, that was a good answer. As far as I know there are a few miniature systems that cover Gladiator battles but I don't think there are any boardgames that do that are particuarly thematic. The semi co-op aspect I think could really add a unique flavour. That'd be one I'd like to see.

There is Clash of the Gladiators,

But it isn't semi-cooperative I think that's a great idea Paul.

Thanks Alex. As I have told you in the past, I'm a big fan and really appreciate the types of games you cover in your reviews. I too really enjoy games with a good amount of theme and player interaction. You personally have helped me gain an appreciation for the work of Martin Wallace.

I believe that the work you do along with many of the other video reviewers is among the best and most time demanding contributions to this site.

Good Gaming.

GM sent. Thanks again. I just had the girls take a look at the video. They are very excited.

The game looks to have a very clean and elegant design.

Thanks Troy,

It's been a great week. I have really enjoyed answering all the questions from the BGG community. It gave me an opportunity to think about gaming related questions I have never considered. Even the funny questions were a nice break from any sense of seriousness. It was nice to have the opportunity for BGGer to get to know a little bit about me as a gamer, my approach to playtesting and ultimately what makes me tick as a game developer / game designer. Most importantly it has given me an opportunity to met some really great members of this community.

I have asked that question of GotW for months and that is the BEST answer I have ever received. I am glad that it meant so much to you. That is awesome!
