A humble plea: sellers/traders PLEASE stop saying “accounted for” when you mean “present”
They do not mean the same thing.

If I were offering you a game that is supposed to come with 20 plastic ninjas, but I watched my cat eat three of them and then set a fourth on fire, I could say absolutely correctly “All 20 plastic ninjas accounted for!” And true though that statement would be, I assume my ability to account for the four ninjas you would not be getting would be of academic interest at best to you as a potential customer/trading partner.

If you mean “all components present,” please say that, rather than “all components accounted for.” It's even fewer keystrokes! Everybody wins!

Thanks and have a great weekend.

Have to say I haven't seen either wording. I use "complete".

You did make me chuckle.

As long as you ship the cat with the ninjas still inside...

The one you set on fire though would still be an issue though.

I am impressed that your cat knows how to set things on fire.

Being ninjas by the time the package arrived at your doorstep I suspect they would have snuck out of the cat and be long gone.

This goes with a pet peeve of mine. "Unplayed" or worse yet "virtually unplayed". This really comes in most when referring to thrifted games. There ARE circumstances where you can reasonably say they it is unlikely the game was played (the copy of Acquire I found for instance had all the stock cards still stuck together in post it note fashion with factory glue) but I don't see that evidence very often. I have seen "out of shrink, unpunched but entirely un-played!". I need hard evidence to buy that one folks! You bought it at a thrift store! You have no idea what was done with it!

Ah, the eternal philosophical question....

...if you can't see those four ninjas, are they really missing?
