Tonight we played a 5 player game, with a Final Five Loyalty, Pegasus and the Cylon Fleet Board.

Admiral Cain
President Baltar
Chief Galen
Pilot Boomer (me)
CAG Lee Adama

Easy
Early in the game I got the chance to look at a Loyalty card. Baltar is a usual suspect, but I could only look at 1 card. So my second choice: the Admiral. He turned over a Final Five Loyalty card. Oops! Fortunately the effect wasn't bad at all. The game went well for the Humans. No spiking. All our resources in blue. We figured: there are no Cylons now, or they're waiting. Two jumps and a distance of 4 in no time at all!

Frak me..
Sleeperphase - I have to move to the brig because of my flaw. I get my 2 loyalty cards. What.. the.. frak?! Two "You are a Cylon" cards! At first I thought: awesome!!! Then I realised: But.. I.. am.. in the.. Brig. My turn game up, but I didn't have any cards to get out of the Brig. I asked my "fellow Humans" to let me go, they decided to keep me in the Brig.

Distrust
A crisis comes up with the fail effect that no one could look at any loyalty card for the rest of the game, difficulty 8. Our CAG Adama said: let it fail, don't waist the cards. I still don't know why he said it, but this was my chance to sow a little distrust. Why would he want to fail it?! Baltar didn't like the idea. He wanted to use his OPG. So I said I could use my OPG to automatic win this skill check. Then Baltar could look at my loyalty cards and I'd prove I was still Human. They didn't want me to use the OPG, so I spiked the check with a red 6. More discussion: they actually thought the red 6 came from Adama! Baltar uses his OPG to look at Adama's cards and declares Adama is Human. The Admiral was a kickass Human: nuking a basestar, playing Major Victory etc. So the President figured: Boomer & Galen must be the Cylons! I gave it a last shot: Baltar & Adama are both Cylons! They are frakkin'me big time! This helped a little because the next few turns where low on XO's, skill checks were overshot by a lot of points. Wonderfull. But they still wouldn't let me out of the Brig. Galen got a crisis with a skill check, the fail would lose morale and food. I decide it's time - one Cylon vs four Humans is impossible to win - so I use my OPG to fail it. Next turn I reveal.

One Cylon, two Cylons
Discission time: I have to give my spare loyalty cards to another player. Galen was still a suspect, so it had to be someone else. A lot of distrust between the humans is good for the Cylon cause. If there would be no pilots left to protect the civvies, that would be cool. And two Cylons in a row could be effective. So I gave my cards to CAG Adama.

Adama reveals immediatly and sends Admiral Cain to sickbay. The Humans are low on skill cards. The Cylon Fleet is finally catching up with the Human fleet. Resources are going down. It's nice to see them struggle. Adama's Supercrisis puts two Centurions on the Boarding party track. My Supercrisis damages Galactica (including the Armoury!!) and destroys 2 civvies. Resources are at: fuel 4, food 3, morale 4, population 5. Distance 7.

Stupid Victory
The Humans manage to repair the Armoury. We manage to get to more Centurions on the boarding party track. We know: the Humans have 3 turns to destroy the first two Centurions, otherwise we would activate them twice and win the game. The Humans fail. Our Centurions march to the end of the Boarding party track. Galactica's air is vented out into space. Galactica's guns destroy the Human fleet. Cylon Victory!

Conclusion
It's not important if you win or lose the game, it's how you play. I would have loved to be Cylon out-of-the-brig, but I simply had no choice. I had to reveal. With 4 Centurions on the Boarding party track it was an easy win in the end. A bit too easy. Still, it's an awesome game! Next time I'll play Boomer again! What are the chances I'd get two "You are a Cylon" cards.. again?! We'll see!

Re: The worst way to win the game..
Boomer is probably one of my least played characters. Her abilities are awesome (Recon and Mysterious Intuition), but her drawback can be a real killer, depending on who you play with. Then it's just compounded by the fact that she doesn't draw Politics or Leadership, so you can't even do anything to prove you're a Human from the Brig, unless you do some Press Room magic pre-Sleeper.

I'd like to play more games with her, but the first couple times I played Boomer, I got screwed over by her drawback. Once, I was a Cylon and I couldn't convince people to let me out of the Brig. The other time, I was a human, and I still couldn't convince people to let me out of the Brig.

I rather enjoy playing as Boomer. It's a personal preference really, as I feel characters like Apollo, Cally, Cain, Baltar, and Felix can be rather shallow.

As for with Boomer, you can still prove your loyalty by contributing to skill checks (ideally those with PRB colors), leave jump icons with your Recon, and play SPs when needed. Play a LS to better keep the admiral honest about having only bad destinations. Since there usually is another pilot even with Boomer in play, that does free her to go to Press Room.

I've been playing with both exp and problem is, humans need to consider if Boomer is human, b/c her getting out of the Brig does mean more jump icons and help for team human. Humans have lost a few games b/c they failed to get Boomer out.

Boomer's flaw is bad if you're Human or Cylon. Still, here positives are excellent!

The game before this one I played Cally, her flaw is also annoying.. fully human but still a prime suspect because I wouldn't (read: couldn't) contribute any cards a couple of times.

Next time I'll play a character with a flaw that's not as big as the above mentioned ones. Any suggestions?

Ehh.. I'm partial to Galen. He's ALOT better with expansions, and his weakness ain't that bad a good chunk of the time.

Helo's flaw isn't big at all, especially if you are the first player. And Baltar really doesn't have a flaw, just a larger chance of being a Cylon.

People can and have "meta-gamed" that by wrangling away the president from him, or been able to deflect spiked skill checks onto him soley due to that. The stats don't always support it that way, but BSG is a game of "mobbed frenzy", so that will end up prevailing in some cases.
