This is really unexpected to me. I didn't even think the image had that much of the chance to win. I have seen other contest images and because of that I decided to go with a little different image this time. Glad I made that choice.

The year 2012 started with a surprise. We found the house we were looking for. For some of you out there the house might seem like a nightmare or weird, but when we look the house, we see the beauty. Agnes's dream was always to have a place, she can mold after her own vision and by her own hand and now I can finally build myself an epic ultimate game room (and yes, there will be tons of images and a list).
The house is old, built in 1904 and in quite shaken up shape, but that is not a problem.
The house is only a kilometer away from where we live now and it is not in the city, but right next to it and only 1 neighbor. There cannot be any more neighbors in the future, because on the one side there is this huge old pine tree, that is old and under protection and on the other side there is a railway safe zone. So it is quite place for us.
Also, and the maybe the weirdest (best?) part is, that the place's official name is Agnes's farm. So my new address will be Agnes's farm in Estonia. Talk about being under your woman...
Anyway, this house is going to be a big project for us and we will see, how the skill we have will make the house beautiful and keep the old feeling it has.

Hey everyone.
In Estonia, one local eye laser place is offering a free eye laser operation to get rid of the glasses and Agnes has had a wish for that for some time now. We wanted for her to be without glasses and contacts by our wedding in May 2013, but this is a great opportunity now, since in Facebook, they will give away free laser operation to few people and the one of them is who gets most LIKE in their Facebook page.
So, here is my small request: if you have a Facebook account, then please if you can go and LIKE her post by clicking here - AGNES'S POST ON KSA EYE CENTER PAGE - and if possible, maybe share it as well in hopes to collect few extra likes and shares.
The 2000 euros worth of operations might not seems much in some other countries, but it is A LOT in Estonia.
Here is the translation of the text from under her picture:
"I have been wearing glasses past 8 years from my life. Little more than a year from now should be the most beautiful day of my life - my weddings. This is the day when every bride wants to shine and be the worlds most beautiful. Biggest wish would be to see that day and my future husband with clear sight!"
I know she look hot in her glasses, but hotter even without them. She promised to get one pair of 0 glasses just for me if the operation could come true! Anyway, I will thank you all who can take the time to share and like this.

Well, Agnes and me are now home from Germany.
What can I say? Our first Essen is now over. We will be back next year hopefully as well.
Spiel 2011 was different than I expected. It was way more crowed than I thought it will be and way more people recognized me and Agnes that I thought there will be. We got to play a lot of games, talk with many many many people, took gazillion pictures and bought even more games. In my mind the Essen Messe for games were a great success and we do hope to see you all again next year.
I will probably make a geek list about all the things we did and saw in short, but to sum things up see some things below:

I bought myself today a Canon EOS 1000D camera, with lens and a flash. Nothing fancy, but I hope to get some better quality in the future and make more pictures as well.

Also it was my third time taking part the regular picture of the month list as well with the photo below:
The picture from Loch Ness didn't do that well. I had a lot more choices as always, so I think I have no talent to choose pictures that can compete in those lists. Each month I have average about 400 pictures to choose from and that is not an easy task. I always doubt if I made the right choice.
