A small impression of Biblios
Biblios - You are an abbot of a medieval monastery competing with other abbots to amass the greatest library of sacred books. To do so, you need to have both the workers and resources to run a well-functioning scriptorium. To acquire workers and resources, you use a limited supply of donated gold. In addition, you must be on good terms with the powerful bishop, who can help you in your quest.
I like to story walking around in an old monastery's library finding interesting stories and watching old drawings from the past.

Players Hand during the bidding
The game is simple to learn and has nasty choices. It's bidding or praying for the right books.
Knowing you opponents and bluffing and drafting new cards. But it's still fun and elegant.
In Essen I saw a wonderful board with color and skyscrapers of New York 1901. The theme and components really applied to me and me and my kids really enjoyed the theme. A perfect gateway game for family's and non-gamers. Easy to learn, good mechanics and interaction on the board.
Relive the dawn of modern New York City, the historic years that made it what it is today. Build bigger and higher skyscrapers on some of Lower Manhattan's most iconic streets. Raise one of four legendary skyscrapers — the Park Row, the Singer, the Metropolitan Life, or the majestic Woolworth — and make one of them the crown jewel of your real estate empire!

In New York 1901, the players are building skyscrapers on a map of New York's Financial District. Players take location cards from a card's display and then use 2-3 of those location cards to place Tetris-shaped building tiles on the board. They first build bronze level buildings. Later in the game those buildings can be replaced by silver level and gold level buildings.
Designer Chénier La Salle and artist Vincent Dutrait did a wonderfull Job in creating this great family game.

You are treasure divers that share the same oxygen supply from the same blue submarine. The adventure is played in three rounds. Players roll dice to move and decide when to pick up treasures. More valuable treasures are deeper, carrying treasure slows your movement and uses up more oxygen. It's you decision...

In Codenames, two teams compete to see who can make contact with all of their agents first. Spymasters give one-word clues that can point to multiple words on the board. Their teammates try to guess words of the right color while avoiding those that belong to the opposing team. And everyone wants to avoid the assassin.
It's fun, could be tense, easy to teach & learn, a party for the young at heart!

In a distant time – so far in the future that either global warming or technical progress is so advanced that windmills are going swimmingly in the antarctic climate – the rising sea level and increased resource consumption has driven mankind to increase investment in polar research. The Scientific Committee on Antarctic Research sees an increasingly creative interpretation of the Antarctic Treaty System.
