A Little impression of Steffen Benndorf's card game the Game ..... light co-op card game. Or could be played solo. Quick and the dead ... it playes fast, easy to pickup but deadly if you do not coop good enough! It's good for your communication exercises.

Players in The Game try to discard all 98 cards in the deck onto four discard piles in order to win, but they need to do so in the right ways.

Each player starts with 6-8 cards in hand depending on the number of players, and four discard pile prompt cards are on the table: two showing "1" and an up arrow and two showing "100" and a down arrow. On a turn, a player must discard at least two cards from hand onto one or more discard piles, with cards on the 1 piles being placed in ascending order and cards on the 100 piles being placed in descending order. One tricky aspect to play is that you can play a card exactly 10 higher/lower than the top card of a discard pile even when you would normally have to play in a descending/ascending order, e.g., if a 100 discard pile is topped with an 87, you can play any card lower than 87 or you can play the 97.

After a player finishes their turn, they refill their hand from the deck. During play, players cannot reveal exact numbers in their hands, but they can warn others not to play on certain discard piles or otherwise make play suggestions.

Once the deck is emptied, players are required only to play at least one card on a turn. If you play all 98 cards, you win! If you get good, the rules suggest that you play at least three cards a turn to increase the challenge.

Simone Luciani & Daniele Tascini are giving us new adventures at the board to the east and Dennis Lohausen ad some great artwork to the Travels

In 1271, 17-year-old Marco Polo started on a journey to China with his father and older brother. After a long and grueling journey that led through Jerusalem and Mesopotamia and over the "Silk Road", they reached the court of Kublai Khan in 1275.

In The Voyages of Marco Polo, players recreate this journey, with each player having a different character and special power in the game. The game is played over five rounds. Each round, the players roll their five personal dice and can perform one action each turn with them. After five rounds, the game ends with players receiving victory points for arriving in Beijing, fulfilling the most orders, and having reached the cities on secret city cards that each player gets at the start of the game; these points are added to the VPs gained during the game. Very different starting positions and characters make this game different and fresh every game.

In the adventure game North Wind, cities are suffering heavily under constant raids from pirates. As freelance trade captains, the players bring food and other goods to the cities, in addition to fighting the pirates whenever they encounter them. Fighting without cannons leads to poor results, however, and cannons are expensive. With each success, though, a player can better equip his three-dimensional ship and strengthen his crew.

In the end, the player who finds the best mix of trading and fighting will prove to be the victorious captain.

Kings of Israel, a game taking place in Israel the Northern Kingdom during the reign of kings up until the destruction by the Assyrians. Each player represents a prophets that are trying to remove the evil (sin cubes) and idols from Israel. Building altars help guide the people in the coming difficult years for the Kings. In this cooperative game players work together to build enough alters before the Assyrians destroying the northern kingdom.

Reading the rules a Pandemic feeling start to grow but the idol mechanism, event cards and resource cards made this game fresh and different. The historical biblical theme fits pretty well without being preachy. But also useful for church service . The game has positive and negative event cards that are determined by the nations current King, sin is spreading the country, also from neighbor tribes and nations. The prophets have special abilities for there actions but teamwork is important.

VERSAILLES is an innovative family game for 2-5 players, who will take on the roles of architects and interior designers, working together to create the magnificent palace for King Louis XIV, and compete for the favor of the great monarch himself. Each turn, a player will move one or more of their workers from one location to another and activate all of their workers gathered there. This will provide them with resources, allow them to build puzzle-like palace pieces, design impressive decorations for the interiors and the gardens of the palace and learn new skills, before His Majesty
