The kids are in their last week of school for the year. Melissa and I are in our last week of work for the year. Will wonders never cease? Not if we play 7 Wonders.
This is the 4th playing of a game I rate as an 8.
All of us had played before, so we were quickly playing.
Son and Melissa seemed to gravitate to blue cards, while Daughter and I expanded the science (green) of our civs.
Daughter lost militarily in the 1st Age, and responded in later ages to amass the strongest army in the region. Everyone built their wonder. Daughter also had the most money at the end of the game. Melissa scored the most in blue while Son got the most in yellow. Melissa and Son scored the most in purple, but not one scored very much in this color. I had the most green points.
The final scores were close, but Daughter's massive army proved the difference.
Final Scores: Daughter 46, Larry 44, Son 43, Melissa 37.
This is a game that I hope to convince the family to play more often as I quite like it.
