He Said, She Said

Back when we discovered BGG in 2004, my wife Robin (helenoftroy), and I, started recording plays and posting session reports under "The Honeymooners" moniker. It's hard to imagine eight years have passed since! Therefore, feeling nostalgic, I'm bringing "The Honeymooners" back and adding our two precocious boys, Bailey and Jakob, to the roster. This blog will record sessions and comments regarding our current game play and how we're introducing gaming concepts to our children. Enjoy!

HABA is a really great company.

Hilary received a great bonus package from his BGG Secret Santa all the way from Germany which included candy, D-Day bonus decks, and Tier auf Tier: Klein, aber oho!.

Our game had one wood frog that was sliced. While the game was perfectly playable with the battle-damaged frog, I wrote an email to HABA to ask where I could get a new wooden frog a couple days before Christmas, not expecting to hear back until after the next year if at all.

We promptly received a wooden frog a week after I sent the email. I’m very impressed with HABA’s customer service, particularly how prompt they were over the holidays.

I’m happy to have a completed game but my little boy still insists playing with his battle-damaged frog.
