My project: To paint 16 heroes and 35 zombies by the end of June.

Since it's only June 3rd, that might not sound like a monumental task to all of you painters out there, and it normally wouldn't to me either, but there are a few things vying for my valuable painting time.
I'm a grad student on summer vacation. In a few days I'm going to start a month long internship at my alma mater. I'll be organizing the metal type in the school's print shop, helping my professor with various printing projects, and, if all goes well, teaching a class on bookbinding at the school's community arts center. I'm also going to print a very small book about lonely astronauts.

The zombies in all their unpainted glory!

Annnyway, I plan on documenting each step in the process and describing which colors I use and the techniques involved for anyone interested. I've painted a lot of miniatures in my day - mostly from fantasy games and BattleTech - but I've never painted zombies, so this should be a lot of fun!
