Friday’s gaming session was a bit odd, as it was cancelled at the last minute, and Sami and I ended up playing 2 player, and instead we moved our regular Friday session to Saturday night. Colin arrived first, so we played a couple of fillers – Take Two (in which I had a "baby on lap" handicap!) and Monopoly Deal Card Game. After that Richard and Marion arrived, and Richard wanted to start with something light, so we pulled out Fauna, using the easier green cards.

Next the rest of us were desperate for a deeper game, so Marion chose Agricola. It was an odd game, with me massively over-feeding thanks to a card that got me 3 food a round when I renovated to stone, and in addition to that also getting the well (I had access to quite a lot of stone!) – meanwhile Marion was messed up by Colin buying BOTH ovens, and making her grain feeding strategy a bit tricky.

Next it was Richard’s RoboRally that he’d requested earlier in the evening. We played Pit Row, which is a very open board so there was lots of interaction, and also lots of options. It ended with Sami just managing to touch Checkpoint 3 first, after Colin, who was miles ahead for most of the game, had been prevented from doing so by a gang of robots trying to stop him.

We just had time for a 7 Wonders to finish with – with Marion getting science to herself for the win, and my military netting me second place.
