See this post for an introduction to this project.

Phase 2 has completed quite fast, I guess a few more hours are added each day when you have vacation . The second power I have selected to paint is Nurgle, basically because it was something very different in style compared to Slaneesh. One of the things that makes this project really cool is that I only paint a 'few' miniatures before moving on to something completely different.

Lets once agian start by having a look at the Greater Deamon. I had no problems in remaining true to the original color sheme, as Nurgle is rather green. I have not included the one from the board game for size reference this time (I forgot cry).

Lets move on to the warriors of Nurgle, the Plaguebearers. You may once again notice that there are one Plaguebearer to many, but the one with the pole on the square base is not a Plaguebearer... It is the green scoring marker (see the pattern? ).

As last time we will finish with a look at the Cultists, hopefully you can now see what I am trying to attchieve. Even though all cultists are the same miniatures, they are assemblied and paintet differently to give each power a discint feel, while remaing somewhat generic.

This image shows the difference between the two types of cultists.

Fianlly lets just have all of it in one image (The greater deamon is standing in a bad angle, sorry about that...):

Next phase is approaching, the miniatures are assemblied but the greater deamon still lacks green stuff and priming. Don't expect next phase to be completed in a couple of weeks (vacation ends tomorrow), but I will return in time

If you like what you are seeing, please help my motivation and leave a comment/question or at least just a thump

This is just awesome!! If you are not planning on it already, you really need to use a stretched piece of leather for the game board devil. Oh and you need to ship this to Indianapolis at some point so I can play!

Just be careful with the Greater Demon. I had one like those once, and it fell apart during transport - and I had spent like 20 hours painting it. I never tried to put it back together.

I am thinking about making the game board of leather, but I am not really sure how to make it look good and also have all the game details. But hey, there is a long way before I get to that anyway... And thanks for the kind words modest

Having owned three Warhammer 40.000 armies I know the issue. But I do try to ensure that models are glued well together, and if thet brake I will but them back together
