I'm sorry, Amoena, I didn't mean to bother anyone! I'm not trying to make money or spam anybody or anything. I am new to blogging and have been trying for the past month to figure out how to connect my blog with BGG so that I could post to both. I couldn't figure out a better way than this. I don't have a whole lot of blog posts written yet, so I won't be posting so often for much longer. I was just trying to get this version of the blog to catch up with the other so that they would both be on the same schedule. Again, really sorry to bother you!
The reason I wanted to connect my blog with BGG wasn't to make money or anything. It's just because I have had great interactions with and advice from people in the BGG community so far and wanted to share a version of my blog with other people who like board games as much as I do. (Most of my friends and family are not quite as into games as I am.)
That post you linked to was originally posted over a month ago? Are you going to repost all your old blog posts here? It feels a little... spammy?
I don't follow everybody's blogs all over the internet, I have neither the time nor the time... So for me, it's really nice to have people post their interesting stuff here on BGG since it's the only site I look at for board games.
I think one blog post here on BGG with links to all your old blog posts would have been enough. They're old but here they look like new so it's a little misleading. At first I just thought that you write a lot. It's better to start fresh here and only link to new blog posts... Preferably with summaries.
I would love to have a dedicated board game blog too, but I have not yet solved a problem with double posting. Audience is here by default, but BGG doesn't allow blog personalizing so every blog looks the same and it's boring :/
