I expect some heavy gaming in the near future after this very long dry season. We've been playing mainly videogames and our dear board games are collecting dust. Insert a sad face here.

But, next Saturday our FLGS is hosting this "Board game Saturday" thingy, where you can buy games with reduced prices or play upcoming games like Eclipse, which everybody seems to be exited about. We'll definitely go there.

Also we bought Dixit Odyssey 'cause we really needed some new cards for Dixit. And, also for the purple bunny. As much as I love Dixit, after awhile you tend to have a hard time coming up with great clues or stories about the cards. Hence my boyfriend also ordered Dixit 2.

I've been looking into few dice games lately, mainly King of Tokyo and Elder Sign, and I intend to buy one of those or both. Haven't decided yet. KoT seems absolutely FUN, not so deep maybe, but who cares! I mean isn't it every girls dream to be a giant monster destroying cities?
ES seems to divide people in two: those who love it and those who don't really care for it. But I'm interested in it for couple of reasons. AH takes WAY too long for me but ES doesn't. Some people complain that it's way too easy, but if it's fun, I don't care how easy it is.

Oh, and I've been dying to get the Cthulhu Gloom set. Seems like this fall is going to be expensive. So many great things that needs to be part of our colletion. Not that it would be a problem normally, but we're getting engaged soon, so those rings aren't cheap you know.

Congratulations on the engagement. To save money for gaming you could use one of the rings from the Lord of the Ring game. As long as she puts it back in the box on games night.
