Day 7 of the December Challenge and it was my son's turn to pick a game. He chose Château Roquefort.

Chateau Roquefort is a game I rate as an 8 as a game to play with children. It is a fun little game that has elements of memory and a bit of strategy. The components are beautiful and quite sturdy. The game is for children; I would not recommend for gamers. The object of the game is to be the first player to use your mice to collect four different types of cheese. This is our 13th recorded play on BGG.

Melissa and Daughter jumped out to an early lead, each claiming two cheeses. I soon claimed my first cheese while my son had not claimed any cheese. He finally claimed his first and Melissa said. "I was about to tell you that you need to get started." He then promptly captured his second piece of cheese on the same turn to even the score. I captured my second cheese but didn't realize that my move would also give another cheese to my son, which he claimed. On his next turn he moved and collected his 4th cheese to win the game. 4 cheeses in two turns for a nice win.

Final Scores: Son 4, Melissa, Larry and Daughter 2 each.
