A horrible week had an amazing end.

Last week sucked because I was so tired all the time. We had planned a game night on Saturday, and even though I was extremely tired, we decided to go. And I'm glad we did.

We tried Coney Island for the first time. I expected it to be very light and fun family game. Which I guess it is, but I was suprised how much my brains had to work during the game. And I lost because I didn't make the right strategies from the beginning. It felt like there was always so much to do, but not enough resources to do them. Reminds me of the feeling I get when playing Through the Desert, even though the games have nothing in common. And I don't mean this as a bad thing. I really liked the game.

Another new to us game we played, was Ticket to Ride: The Card Game. We only recently got in to the Ticket to ride mania and we've been playing it a lot lately. When we got the card game we didn't really expect it to feel like TTR. You know, like Cardcassonne has nothing to do with Carcassonne...
But, it actually does feel like TTR. Sort of. I think this is going to be a summer vacation favorite. It's not going to replace TTR but when we don't have the space or time to play the original, we'll get this on the table(or floor or whatever).
