Intrepid reporter Scott Reed was able to capture an update from Friedemann Friese about his Friday (Black Friday & Friday) project - this one sounds very interesting and ambitious!

Also, an update from Cyril Demaegd covering the changes made to Serenissima and he hints at a new design coming this Essen Spiel from William Attia. Sorry about the abrupt cutoff at the end - but I think we got most of the meat in the interview.

Maybe (so far anyway), but at least Serenissima features spice-driven combat.

And shouldn't he include deck building twice, but give it a different name the second time (or at least include a picture of a women with big boobs looking out from behind the rulebook?).

Give it time. It's still in an early development stages.

The William Attia game sounds like he is trying to make [=Sutters Mill][/] without poker suits.

How clever of Friedemann. It'll be quite interesting to see if he can manage to make all of that work together well.

I like the fact that Fremde Federn Friday doesn't even attempt to have a theme so far. It's an Euro after all, it would be wrong if it wouldn't be dry as a desert.
