Final Fantasy Monopoly (2011)

This is a Monopoly game by every standard. The artwork and titles have all been replaced to match the theme of Final Fantasy. Places, names, and people, have been taken from Final Fantasy I to Final Fantasy XIII, also from Final Fantasy Tactics, Final Fantasy Unlimited, Final Fantasy Adventure.

The Monopoly games are the most commercially successful and one of the oldest game franchises in the US. The family of games are re-themed versions of the original Monopoly. The original game was released in 1935 and almost every year sees the launch of rethemed and rebranded editions. The games are published by Parker Brothers, a subsidiary of Hasbro. Gameplay consist of the players trying to acquire wealth through stylized economic system involving the buying, renting, and trading of properties using play money, the roll of the dice for movement a long the board. The object of the game is to own every piece of property and drive the other players into bankruptcy.
