Paydirt uses Team Charts patterned after every NFL team. These charts are statistically designed to reflect the strengths and weaknesses that characterized that team. Though the teams from the era it was published come in the box there is the ability to purchase teams from any era, and even more recent teams. With Avalon Hill's demise this is not the case for the most recent years.*
Originally called Sports Illustrated Pro Football published by Time, Inc. Then became Paydirt by Avalon Hill. Chart designer Dr. Thomas R. Nicely, a mathematician with published articles on the subject of random and statistical probabilities.
Rights to create charts reverted to Dr. Nicely when Avalon Hill folded and was absorbed by Hasbro. He then granted the privelege and rights of producing charts to one Matt Floray, who is releasing updated (and previous) charts.

Paydirt (1977) Revised 1978
Sports Illustrated design revised by Avalon Hill
Designed by N/A
Development by N/A
Previously published by SI under the title of Pro Football, PAYDIRT received a much needed redesign by Dr. Thomas Nicely. The names of the original SI designers are unknown. Equally important, the NFL team charts which hadn’t been updated since 1972 were revised and updated every year starting with the 1978 season. Prospective buyers can now tell which year’s team charts are included inside due to the application of a descriptive label on the outside of each game box. Updated team charts are available every year direct from AH.
Cut into sqaures along the solid lines and fold as instructed here: http://www.cutoutandkeep.net/projects/origami-dice
You can use the dotted lines as a guide to help you fold into the centre rather than make a central crease right through the die face.
I created these after reading this thread: http://www.boardgamegeek.com/thread/608070/origami-dice
I found the distribution of numbers here: http://www.tabletop-sports.com/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=viewtopic&t=919
The most accurate Paydirt charts ever developed. The entire regular season play by play dataset, direct from the NFL's website, is analyzed along with video review to produce DDF's charts, the official charts used by the World Boardgaming Championships Paydirt tournament.
