Lock 'n Load: Band of Heroes is a tactical board game tour de force that covers the battles of America's airborne troops during June of 1944. The second complete module in Mark H. Walker's Lock 'N Load: Forgotten Heroes; Vietnam game system, Band of Heroes includes a bucket full of new weapons, squads, and vehicles, including U.S. Airborne, German SS, and Fallschirmjager troops, Tiger, Sherman, Stuart, and PzIIIJ tanks, and MG42, MG34, and M1919A4 machine guns. But the scenarios are the selling point, and this batch of sixteen tells the story of the men from the 101st and 82nd Airborne Divisions fighting the Germans in the Norman hedgerows during June of 1944.

The map included is just a preview map on a PDF. The actual map is available at this link:http://www.mediafire.com/?2xgu6baem1k5zg2
The full map (90+mb) is set to three ledger sheets with a half hex overlap at one inch hexes. I printed mine at Staples for about $3 a sheet.
I believe that all counters listed are availble from the Band of Heroes box except for one from the Heroes of the Blitzkrieg (French S-35).

Attached is a .pdf that I put together a few years ago after learning how to play LnL. It is a detailed exaple of play for the Band of Heroes scenario "Ewell's Charge."
Haven't looked at it since creating it, but think it is error free. Hope this helps someone when learning LnL.
