By mistake an expedition happens to take all the start keys to the space rocket on the unknown planet. Without the keys you can't leave the planet. The expedition is surveyed by all stations, but suddenly has it disappeared.
As a player should you create a rescue team and try to be the first to find the missing keys. When you have found two identical keys, you have to return to an optional starting square as soon as possible and point out two identical key counters.
For your expedition you may choose 4 different members. It contains a maximum of 3 soldiers (who collect food), a captain, a doctor (who may heal wounded members), a technician (who may repair the terrain car), a zoologist and a geologist.
Each turn may you do one of the following:
- Move (you then have to take an event card as well)
- Hunt for provisions
- Repair the car
- Operate on a wounded expedition member
If you happen to be in difficult terrain, you also have to draw a terrain card. Both the terrain cards and the event cards may make something happen, which is easier to handle with one or more of the different kind of crew members.
The event cards can be stuff, which might help you further on. But also catastrophic, animal or plant cards. The damage value on the cars decides how far you may move each turn. Every turn you check with a die if you eat some of the provisions.
The game only exists in Swedish. Okänd planet = Unknown planet. Probably published 1985-1990.
