This is the second game in the 'Abenteuer Catan' (Catan Adventures) series that started with Candamir: The First Settlers. The theme of Elasund is based on the 'Die Siedler von Catan' novel written by Rebecca Gablé, itself based on the original The Settlers of Catan game. In Elasund, players compete and cooperate to build the premier city of Catan.

Tired of strange rolls that seem to defy the laws of probability? Print these cards out, sleeve them, and use them instead of rolling the dice--perfect probability distribution! There is also a Year End card one may shuffle in to add a little taste of the unknown--when it is drawn, reshuffle all the cards (including the discards) and draw again. All credit and thanks to michely, nnoc, binraix for the images posted on BGG, and the (uncredited) person who posted the photo of a wave found on Google Images. THIS VERSION: The formatting on the Year End card has been fixed.
