Description Edit | History

Alhambra is the latest update to the stock market game Stimmt So!, only it has been completely re-themed with a Moorish theme and has an additional tile-laying component.

In Alhambra, players are acquiring buildings to be placed within their Alhambra complex. On a player's turn, a player may take money from the open money market, purchase a building from the building market, or engage in construction and re-construction projects with buildings that have been placed in the player's reserve. The game rewards efficiency, as when a player purchases a building from the market for the exact amount of money, the player may take another turn. Players with the most buildings in each of the seven building types score in each of the scoring phases, and points are awarded for players' longest external "wall" section within their complex. The game ends when the building market can no longer be replenished from the building tile supply, and there is a final scoring, whereupon the player with the highest score wins.

2 Alhambra blank scoresheet Rev 10-2009
Blank scoring sheet, 8.5 x 11 landscape. Yes, yes, there is already a scoring track but I had interest in remembering the results from individual rounds. Now my companions enjoy referring to it in the post-game disussions of what transpired. Rev. Oct 2009

1 Alhambra Building Tile Tuck box (Letter size)
The Alhambra game box has nice compartments for the pieces. Unfortunately the pieces seem to fall out during transit. Here is a Tuck Box for the 54 building tiles (you will need four, one for each slot in the box, to fit all 54 in) with internal dimensions 4.5 x 4.5 x 3.0 cm big enough to fit 15 tiles in (though you only need either 13 or 14 in each). I printed mine on 160 g/sqm card and they fit nice in the box. Print this out with scaling set to NONE. This is LETTER sized document. Thanks to Tyson's Tuck box generator, used to create a blank template.
