Will you answer the King's call?

In the ancient Citadel of Monarch City, the King calls to arms the finest Heroes to defend against a Darkness that engulfs the land. You and your allies must embark on a journey to defend the countryside, repair the tainted lands, and defeat the four creature factions before any of them enter the City. And they approach from all sides! Fast populating Orcs! Fierce Dragons! Undead that bring Fear! And Demons! All tainting the land in their wake. There are several paths to defeat, but only one path to victory, and only the most valiant Hero will be named King's Champion.

Defenders of the Realm is a cooperative fantasy board game in which 1-4 players take a role as one of the King’s Champions (Choose from Cleric, Dwarf, Eagle Rider, Paladin, Ranger, Rogue, Sorcerer and Wizard). You, as one of the King's Heroes make use of strategy, special abilities, cooperation, card play and a little luck in Defenders of the Realm for a unique experience every adventure. But be forewarned! There is never time to rest. As each Enemy General is struck down in battle, the remaining dark forces only grow more difficult to vanquish and their march to Monarch City gets faster with each Hero victory!

Rising from the Ashes

The attached Scenario is a bonus scenario to the Summer League and presents a "What If" battle to regain a defeated, but not yet conquered Monarch City as the castle has some lingering defensive magic placed on it by the legendary wizard Amarak. The Heroes have one final chance to recapture the city before the magic dissipates and the Dark Lord teleports to into the royal castle. The base game is all that is required to play this scenario and the twist in this game is that the Generals start in Monarch City and move to hunt the final remaining heroes hoping to slay them before they can rise from the ashes to save the kingdom. Hopefully you all will enjoy this scenario and consider it a holiday gift from Eagle Games and myself to the loyal defenders of the realm.

Summer League - Chapter 5: Assault on Monarch City

This is the 5th and final scenario to the Summer League play - the battle for Monarch City. The battle setup is driven by success and failure from the previous battles and this scenario should prove challenging for all players whether you successfully defended the previous cities. Chapter 4 of the Summer League challenges the players with a setup in which most Generals are close to the central City of Ravens Peak, a magical city that floats above the realm providing it more protection than those on the ground.

Summer League - Chapter 3 The March of the Undead

Chapter 3 is the 3rd scenario in the Summer Campaign with the battle for the frontier city of Westguard, a poor fortress guarded by only the local militia and home to the infamous Thieves Guild. This scenario will test the players at a new level as only 3 Generals are attacking, but an evil necromancer is raising Undead Minions and even defeated Generals to become Undead and she must be stopped by the magic of the Silver Dragon before the city falls. Everything is in this PDF file to play this battle.
