Frederick the Great is an operational level wargame on the Seven Years War between Frederick the Great's Prussia (and allied Hanover) and the anti-Prussian coalition consisting of France, Austria, Russia and a host of European countries.
There are seven scenarios, each covering one year of campaigning.
The game consists of a map covering most of central Europe, rules and counters depicting the important leaders and generic strength points representing armies.
Frederick the Great was originally published by SPI in 1975 as an insert game in issue #49 of the Strategy & Tactics magazine. It was republished in boxed format in 1982 by the Avalon Hill Games Company.
This counter sheet includes the counters for the Silesian War scenario. They are back-printed with depot markers on the back of the units, and demoralised markers on the backs of the leaders.
This modifies the previous sheet uploaded by correcting the Saxon units.
Some helpful charts for the S&T version of Frederick the Great, including: table of values of initially-held fortresses; lists of all fortresses sorted by initial owner, name, and hex; list of leaders.
Revised version of Todd Klemme's Frederick the Great gamebox. Text file included in zip file listing changes. Based upon AH version published in early '80s. Includes Silesian War scenarios published in The General.
