The Powerhouse Series book set pits the Fokker DVII of Georg von Hantlemann against the SPAD XIII of Eddie Rickenbacker. The game provides statistics for several other WWI fighter planes that may be played using this set.
The Powerhouse books include a different variety of maneuvers than was used in the Handy Rotary books making for interesting match-ups between the two sets.
A single 8.5" x 11" sheet that contains everything you need to play with the powerhouse books using the deluxe edition rules. Some information on this sheet was copied from Rapier1642's deluxe house rules. The aircraft maneuver restrictions are for a generic powerhouse aircraft. I don't know enough about the individual planes to create different restrictions. Someone with that knowledge is encouraged to modify this for the different planes in the powerhouse series.
I never carried around a die for the advanced rules to this game. I used a table like the one attached. The German and Allied players write/call-out a number 1-6 at the same time, and cross reference it on the table to get a 1d6 roll. This rock-paper-scissors approach fits inside the box with the rules.
