Description Edit | History

DungeonQuest is a re-imagining of the classic board game of dungeon exploration for 1-4 players. Set in the vibrant fantasy realm of Terrinoth (first popularized by Runebound), DungeonQuest retains the peril, tension, and brutality of the beloved original game while updating both mechanical and thematic elements. Players take on the roles of courageous (or foolish) heroes willing to brave the legendary dangers of Dragonfire Dungeon. Fortune awaits those able to venture into the dragon’s lair...

Legends say that the doors of Dragonfire Dungeon open every sunrise, welcoming brave adventurers into its depths. But once the sun sets, the doors close and seal the fates of those who lingered too long. Only a few have ever returned from Dragonfire Dungeon, and those who have usually come back near death. But they return as heroes nonetheless.

In DungeonQuest, players must guide their heroes through the twisting halls of Dragonfire Dungeon in pursuit of unimaginable riches hoarded by the Dragonlord Kalladra. Whoever can amass the most wealth and make it out of the dungeon before the closing of the doors seals their doom will emerge victorious. However, merely surviving the harrowing dungeon is a feat all its own...

While many similar games rely on a player to control the machinations of the dungeon, Dungeonquest is unique in that the dungeon essentially runs itself. No one at the table knows what lies around the corner, creating a new play experience every time. Additionally, DungeonQuest also includes rules for solo play, so you can even challenge Kalladra’s keep on your own!

Great riches and everlasting glory await if you can survive Dragonfire Dungeon. The Dragonlord Kalladra has challenged all heroes of Terrinoth to test themselves against the most dangerous dungeon in all the realms.

Dare you face the dragon’s challenge?

7 Hero Cards Tuck Box
As promised, here is the tuck box for the hero cards for DungeonQuest 4th edition. The tuck box is quite wide, so to ensure as much compatibility as possible, the box is split between two sheets of 8.5 x 11 paper. As with the other tuck boxes, simply print on 110lb white card stock. Cut out the halves of the box, and glue the grayed-out flap on the front of the box behind the full-color flap of the same design connected to the back. This will give you your connecting flap between the two pieces and should give you a suave looking storage option to compliment the other tuck boxes I've uploaded! Enjoy, and as always, if you DO enjoy, please give this a thumbs up. If you've got questions, comments, or requests, give me a shout. Thanks!

9 DungeonQuest Tuck Boxes
Here are 13 tuck boxes for all of the DungeonQuest card decks, except the Hero Cards (which I'm currently working on). These should all be printed with scaling turned off. They are all 20mm thick, which should allow for additional cards in (hopefully) upcoming expansions. I hope you enjoy these! I put a lot of work into them, and if you enjoy, please give a thumbs up! If you see work that needs to be done, or have complaints, let me know, and I'll try to adjust them for upcoming versions. A custom tuck box for the hero cards is also available. Check it out!

4 DungeonQuest Hero Mat
Here's a PNG of a Hero Mat I have been working on for DungeonQuest (3rd edition). I can also happily provide the XCF file that features the image still in layers, etc., if anyone wishes to modify this project further. Please contact me if you have any additions or changes you'd like to see in future editions. For best results, I print this on white 110lb cardstock using the Windows Photo Viewer with "Fit Picture to Frame" checked. You may also want to modify your printer settings in order to get little or no border. Please give this a thumbs up if enjoy it! Thanks!

2 Official Terrinoth Character list English excel format
This is a list of all of the Fantasy Flight Games official Terrinoth Characters and from which expansions they are obtained. There is a great deal of crossover between all of the Terrinoth games. Runebound, Descent, and Runewars have the same 12 starting characters except Descent which also includes the 8 characters from Island of Dread. All of the Descent characters are present in Runebound expcept those from Well of Darkness. All of the Runebound characters are present in Descent except those from Midnight and the most recent release, Mists of Zanga. Dungeonquest says on the box it's a game set in the Runebound Universe. The Dungeonquest game contains 6 characters with cards for Runebound, Descent and Runewars.
