(publisher)
i9n is a "paperback computer board-game" without electronics but with a groundbreaking new punchcard mechanism!

Use your information and find out all characteristics of the decreasing oil in place all over the world. Earn rich oil storages by drilling successfully. By trading on the stock-market you can boost your capital or confuse your competitors. The magic paperback processor informs you about the current oil-wells’ positions. New characteristics to be explored in each phase restrict these positions to the half until there is only one final sparkling oil-well left at the end of the game. Combine your logical and tactical skills with a little bit of luck and you will find the most valuable oil-wells!

2 6 region letter codes for all 64 zones
This is a spreadsheet I made for i9n. It lists all 64 zones on mapboard, in 2 columns. Each of the 64 zones has 6 descriptive region letters, taken from the 12 regions in the game (North, South, East, West, Polar, Equatorial, Atlantic, Pacific, Land, Sea, Sun, Fog). Also, each of the 64 zones is paired with its opposite, so that you can set up your 2 explorers in these zones. [Edit: I now have figured out how all 6 punch-cards that start inside the Safe are placed, one-by-one, into the Processor. In Phase 1, you have 32 possible successful drilling locations. In Phase 2, you have 16; in Phase 3, you have 8; in Phase 4, you have 4; in Phase 5, you have 2 (but there is no exploring or drilling in Phase 5); and in Phase 6, you have only 1 possible successful drilling area left to...
