Francisco José de Goya y Lucientes (March 30, 1746 - April 16, 1828) was a Spanish romantic artist who was a court painter to the Spanish Crown.
A version of his painting Saturn Devouring His Son was used as the cover art for the game Frankenstein. This painting was one of the series of Black Paintings that Goya painted directly onto the walls of his house sometime between 1819 and 1823.
A version of his painting The Third of May 1808 was used as the cover art for the game 2 de Mayo.
