John Trumbull (June 6, 1756 - November 10, 1843) was an American artist noted for his American Revolutionary War paintings. His Declaration of Independence illustration was used for the reverse of the $2 bill and his portrait of Alexander Hamilton was the source artwork used for the $10 bill.
His painting The Battle of Bunker's Hill has been used as the cover art for a few games.
A portion of his painting The Death of General Mercer at the Battle of Princeton was used as cover art for the game Washington's War.
