David Bush (born c. 1949) is a game designer from Fairfax, Virginia, who is a retired United States government intelligence officer. He has been active in the wargaming hobby since 1967. He grew up on Avalon Hill and graduated to SPI, Dungeons and Dragons, Civilization, and computer games. His interests include military history and space science. He also served as a playtester and rules developer for SPI's NATO Division Commander which was published in 1980. He also redesigned Galaxy, an internet 3D limited intelligence space 4X game.
