Sam Ellis is a Visual Story Teller and purveyor of fine things. Sam didn't grow up with in the circus but has lived life like he was part of one. Sam was one of the few kids that didn't listen to his teachers when they told him to stop drawing or daydreaming instead he pressed forward doing what he loved. Sam attended the Savannah College of Art and Design where he studied and got a degree in sequential art (comics). After college Sam went on to work with 70-30 productions on their animated shows, FRISKY DINGO, and The Xtacles, for Cartoon Network's [adult-swim]. He went on to work with Floyd County Productions as the Lead Designer for The FX networks first animated show ARCHER and had the pleasure of doing the first ever drawing of Sterling Archer that was used in the Pitch. After the first season Sam went back to school to get his masters in animation from BSU in Muncie Indiana. Currently he lives in Spotsylvania, VA with his wife, two kids and their family dog stella. He works the majority of his week for Green Shoe Animation and teaches twice a week at the Art Institute of Washington. While doing all this he is still developing new shows for clients and himself which he regularly pitches to networks.
