Hobby World is the first Russian publisher of European boardgames. Our first game was published in 2001, and it was followed by the Russian edition of The Settlers of Catan in 2002. Carcassonne and Munchkin were published in the following years.
The brand 'Hobby World' was created in 2010 after the merger of Smart Ltd and Fantasy World, Inc., the two main competitors of the Russian boardgames market. In 2011 Hobby World was the largest Russian game publisher by turnover and print runs.
Hobby World's portfolio consists of many famous titles, such as The Settlers of Catan, Carcassonne, Munchkin, Dominion, Ticket to Ride: Europe, Citadels, Bang!, Power Grid, Agricola, Zooloretto, etc. Among the own games of Hobby World are Berserk: Trading Card Game, Метро 2033, Swintus, and more. The English editions of the Russian games were shown for the first time at Essen SPIEL 2011.
Hobby World is the official Russian distributor of Wizards of the Coast, Games Workshop Ltd., Fantasy Flight Games, Days of Wonder, Cryptozoic Entertainment, UltraPRO, and other industry leaders.
Hobby World is based in Moscow, Russia and has a branch in Kiev, Ukraine.
