A brief history:
Until end WWI: production of stamp games (Famos)…
1918/19 (short after WWI) Tietz und Pinthus started game production in Magdeburg;
1922/3 company moved to Nürnberg, changing trade marks to (additionally) ‘ABC Verlag’.
1938 company was bought by Georg Reulein (since 1907 Distibutor for Tietz and Pinthus) - a couple of months before the government forced other Jewish owners [Spear, Klee…] selling their companies/lifework for peanuts, named Aryanization; logo ABC was still in use, but logo ‘Reulein’ was attached.
Former owner Willi Pinthus emigrated to Switzerland; together with another Jewish businessman he founded 1939 Carlit (Cartonagen und Lithographien)
1946 new production starts with a new logo ‘Noris’ Noris Spiele
