«Stolitsa Design Group» was founded in 2001 by Sergey Machin in Russia.
The main line of work for the company is printing designs and development of board games.
In late 2002 the company made its debut with the first Russian collectible card game “The War”. Since that time the company has released over 15 different board games, some of which were made as private souvenirs.
«Stolitsa Design Groups’» portfolio consists of more than just board games; they have books, magazines and even calendars. The companies staff participated in the release of the Russian version of Warhammer and Lord of The Rings wargames. With the company “Alegris ltd”, «Stolitsa Design Group» releases a Russian magazine ”Board game empire”.
Since 2010 all board game based designs of «Stolitsa Design Group» were transferred to individual company - «Rightgames LLC».
