Grand Cru

Grand Cru is a strategic game of economy for 2-5 wine enthusiasts.

The French call wine from the best and sunniest growing areas Grand Cru. But to create an excellent wine you need patience, dedication and a sure feeling for the market.

As an ambitious vintner you run a vineyard at an excellent site. But starting up a business is hard. For cultivation and operating their business, the players will have to rely on bank loans. Money is tight and will need to be invested wisely. Check your cellar constantly and balance long-term strategies against short-term interests. Farsighted planning and skillful timing are the keys to success.

As soon as the first player has settled his debts the game ends. Only then you find out which vintner has won the game by managing his vineyard the most profitably. A votre santé!

A game by Ulrich Blum.
