With a bit more variability in power types and strength levels among the characters, this game could have been much better. As it is, Daredevil is just as mighty as the Hulk, and hardly distinguishable from same. In short, the game is much too random. If you're looking for a superhero game with a wide range of unique characters and a fast but elegant battle system, you'll be much better off with Capes & Cowls . . . if the blessed thing ever gets released!

Another simple game with a gimmick. Lay out the board and place your )Marvel Super Hero) figure; move around and kill the opponent. The figures are posable and the various poses make a difference in the game. However, the only 'neat' part of the game is that each figure carriers a rifle that actually fires a dart-like batton at the opposing figure. It is good for a few laughs but there simply isn't much game here.

Not a terrible game if you like setting up targets and shooting them down with projectiles. This has been done many times before with different product genres. If you like action figures, this offers an incredible product of multiple articulation I haven't seen in figures before (the Thing, for example, can bend his toes and make a flat palm or fist from the same hand!) and the play has a new concept of squares that offer different special abilities and situations, but in the end it really is just aim and shoot. For the price, not worth it. For a collector who really likes Marvel, possibly worth it for the figure, but not for the game.

This game is really weak and I wonder what is its market. For the price Star Wars Attacktix gives better value for the price. Sure, Attacktix are not super articulated 4" figures, but what they give up as action figures they deliver as _toys_. (Even Showdown toys aren't that great as action figues; they are flimsy, goofy and poorly painted.) Attacktix are a much better value given the desire for kids to collect them and have varied game play. At a flabbergasting $8 a pop Toy Biz should stick to their often wonderful full size figures and leave game design to another company. I see even adults having a hard time latching on to this product unless they are Marvel action figure fans and fans of 4" scale--and even for grown-up "Toys R Us kids" the game is lame compared with the flexibility Attacktix offers.

You may as well stand your action figures on a table and flip a coin to see who wins.
