A kid's game with elements suitable for real gamers. Roll a die, move a hedgehog and any hedgehogs resting atop it. Get all three of your color on a stack and you win. Victory would be easy were it not for other players' chances to block by splitting up your hedgehogs--and there are lots of those.
Rated strictly as a kid's game. The strategies are a bit simple for adult gamers but excellent for teaching basic strategies to kids.
I keep this game in my purse because it's a perfect game to play while waiting somewhere. It's tiny (approx. 3"x1.5"x0.5") and it plays quickly (about 5 minutes per game). It's simple to play, but it does require a bit of tactical thinking. My favorite of the HABA mini-tin games.
Rating is for playing with all adults. Cute bightly colored little hedgehogs, and impressive that you can get a game box that occupies about 1 cubic inch of space. Truly a tiny game.
However the last time I played with four adults, the winner boiled down to the first person to be able to roll an odd number on the die. After 3 rolls we finally had a winner. Would definitely be more enjoyable playing with kids.
