It's amazing how inclined you are to inflate rhe ratings of a game when you've won.

Each player picks a color and takes the cards (numbered 1 through 12) of their color. The cards from each player are then suffled together and dealt out 4 to each player. This means that there are more cards with more players, and since cards are dealt randomly, the more players there are the less likely you will have cards of you color. Four chits are turned over from a pool of eighteen with numbers ranging from -6 to +6. The players play cards from their hand on these chits until the number of cards is the same as the number showing on the chit (four cards on a 4 chit, five cards on a -5 chit etc.) then the chit is scored. Whatever color has the most points on that chit takes it and it is replaced by another chit from the chit pool. This continues until all the chits have been won. Then everyone adds their chits and the highest number wins. Because you will almost always have more cards in your hand that affect others rather then your own color, this game becomes more of a contest to make others lose. Everyone is gunning for whoever is winning at the moment either by making them take negative chits or by awarding the high positive chits to whoever is in last place. A very mean spirited game. I love it.

Used to play this all the time when the kids were younger ... a very simple ad clever scoring mechanism which provided lots of laughs. Lost a few cards and a couple were chewed by the dog along with some homework assignments ...

It's fun, nice graphics of the numbers in peril. Light, with the option to play bad cards for other players, but the choices are simple and it's a quick enough game. Maybe best with 4 or more players. This is one game you could play with the ubiquitous multi-coloured deck that many such card games have. You'd need the +/- tokens, but apart from that, it's generic.

I loved it as a kid. It's fun if the players are willing to be mean to each other and to team up (temporarily) to trade and help each other just to betray each other later. The best part is that you are allowed to lie when you are trading (or is that a houserule? If so, I highly recommend it), this adds a bluffing element and another reason to be mad at one another.

Played very few times and it seems to have a great kingmaker tendency. Did not attract much of my attention.

I'd call it "Balloon Cup light" for two to six players.

Better than the wretched Relikt in that there isn't an overwhelming amount of crap piled on top of an already frustrating and dry addition puzzle. I'd be surprised if Reiner Knizia was not inspired by this when he designed Poison and especially Figaro.

Not a lot of control here. If you don't get your own cards, it can be tough to win anything, and especially tough not to lose big.

Better with fewer players.

The art is mystifying.

A lackluster card game with a heavy luck factor and few meaningful choices for players.

played this for the first time yesterday when a Garman guy introduced the game. I would describe this as a simplified multi-player version of Balloon Cup only worse, nuff said.
