[as a kid's game] Fun, light recognition game, suitable for kids ages 3-5. I think it would lose its appeal pretty quickly once you're familiar with the items represented. Still, for the price point (about $7) the game features great quality components, clear rules and a gameplay experience that helps stretch a kid's mind... Reinhard Staupe is a fabulous designer of children's games.

Pretty good speed/recognition game that my kids have enjoyed. The main problem I can see in playing with my kids is that the game is basic enough that the older kids will have to hold back when playing against the younger ones. That kind of takes some of the fun out of it.

Not a bad letter/word association game for young kids. I'm not 100% sold on the idea of reinforcing letter/picture relationships (ie: 'a is for apple') for the simple reason that later someone has to come along and teach the exceptions to the rule ('a' makes the 'a' sound like in apple, but it can also bay an 'ay' sound as in baby, or the 'ar' sound as in aunty and so forth) (differences are more noticable with letters like 'c' - celery vs coke). Still, you can't expect a little game like this to reflect phonographic relationships fully - it does an admirable job of what it was designed to do.

The first game is boring, but the two other are fun, and certainly help with letter recognition.

Kids Rating. I bought this one for my 4 y.o. nephew. It's not a bad game for learning the alphabet but is unlikely to have much staying power once kids know the alphabet well and have memorized the associated pictures. Still it's a good buy for the price.

Card layout can be confusing for kids. Once you teach them an order to figure out their plays, it works better.

Surprising how difficult it can be to find the matches. High amount of luck. Too long (at least with 5 players)

Nice card game, especially when the kids are learning the alphabet. When you are familiar with the cards (and the alphabet of course ) this is a no-brainer but it's still worth every penny for the right group of kids.
Got a lot of positive feedback from parents and kids as well.

"M is for Mouse" in English. My kids love this, but grows tiresome for the parents.

Good kids game. English verssion is called "M is for Mouse". Kids try and match beginning letters with corresponding pictures. My kids really enjoy this one and it has a bit of eduacational value too!

Rated 6.54 for adults - higher for kids. Great for school programs. Our reading-well 9 yo enjoys it; our not-reading-yet 4yo loves it. She uses the reference card to see what letter goes with which number, and we play the 'easy' variant.

Good word/letter recognition for my three little ones (all under age 6). Very repetitive. While there are several rule variants included, we tend to just make up our own rules.

A decent way to get young kids to remember letter sounds. It's better than I thought it would be.

The basic game offers a nice turn-based activity for children learning their letters, finding matches between letters and the matching pictures, with the winner being luck based. For older children, it offers a speed based game (the first to see a match claims it), but victory will likely be age dominated.

Another game for my kids. My 5 yr old plays this very well and I credit it's influence on her incredible spelling. Not so good for adults.
