I come from Greece. I'm very glad I've bought this game with the expansion. It has very clever encounters, each needing a different strategy to win, using teamwork and sometimes betrayal. It has an RPG feeling and that is what I like most. I have used it to create adventures in the DnD campaign worlds -with a GM- and it has been a great success until now. Ofcourse you don't have to play it with a GM with the official rules.

THIS GAME HAS THE BEST QUALITY BOXES AND CARDS I'VE EVER SEEN!!! I HOPE THIS WILL BE CONTINUED IN TO THE FUTURE EXPANSIONS.

This game is awesome. It's has the feeling of playing a role game but the deepness of your character is based on your actions. Really love it to play all days if it where possible Excellent for 2 players. I think the best number would be 3 or 4 max. More delays the game too much.

Okay, I'm biased... clearly. But honestly, I think Cutthroat is our best work to date. Hope you enjoy it too.

Fast paced dungeon adventure where you need constantly think of yourself first, at the expense of the rest of the party, in order to have a shot at winning.

One of the best games out there. The game that turns best friends to arch enemies. Never a dull moment, tons of actions and with awesome expansions.

Evil kill-stealing card game. Can be great fun with the right crowd. Too much thought needed for younger players, especially concerning the action cards and when to play etc. Don't play with people who easily take offence when their plans are ruined!

Played this tonight and I thought it was phenomenal. I thought it was like Munchkin which I have played once but I didn't really like it. Granted it was a very large game but, I like games that are...cutthroat. I like to be vindictive in a game. I don't like the, hey who wants to help me aspect of Munchkin. In Cutthroat caverns, any act of help, is truly for yourself. It was gnarly and awesome. I will buy this.

Good fun so far but the more we play, the more skillful will be the backstabbing

My buddy brought this back from Gen Con, we have played it 10 or so times in the past month and each time has been great fun. My wife even played and enjoyed this game. Its fast, its fun.

Acquired in trade (with Deeper and Darker expansion) for Hellas.

So the rating is based on a solo play.

Incredible 3 player game that is very confrontational. I really like being able to backstab and work together with the other players.

Very fun if your group can handle the take that aspect. Very little analysis paralysis plus if these people are annoying the others, they may end up taking a few hits for the team. I just bought this game but it got several plays already certainly seems tailor made for our DND group lets us burn off steam that might otherwise sidetrack a campaign. If you can let bygones be bygones then this is a good game for you.

Great "stab your buddy" game.
With normally only 9 encounters, the game doesn't risk dragging on like other games in it's genre. Also the encounters are very varied and calls for different strategies.
Equal mix of luck and tactics.

While this game depends on a level of betrayal, this is not as backstabbing/take-that as Munchkin. While you can directly interact with the other players at the table (CRITICAL MISS!) most of backstabbing is indirect (I poke the monster with a stick). Whereas with Munchkin feelings have been hurt, thus far the same has not happened with Cutthroat Caverns.

Really great balance between forcing you to not TOTALLY screw the others, but getting them just to the brink so that as the end you can swoop in and destroy them all. I love the theme, I think the mechanics are really well done and thought out, spot on balance and it really lends itself to repeat plays as there are so many factors that can dramatically change the way an encounter plays out.

There is a ton of player interaction and it really does force you to sorta work together, but at the same time you need to mess with your companions to win. Its even possible for the game to end without anyone left alive.

If you like being able to stab your friends in the back and have a lot of laughs while doing it, you must give this title a look.

A wild and wooly game which mixes cooperative play with loads of back-stabbing. The monsters you're trying to kill are varied and often innovative, the card-art is terrific, and the table-talk this game elicits is a hoot. Not recommended for an overly serious or sensitive gaming group, but for players who enjoy a romp it doesn't get much better than this.

It lives up to it's name and although there's some randomness, there's a lot of decisions and a lot of fun in this small box game.

A fresh take on "cooperative" game play - one which relies on ultimately screwing your allies to win! :-D This game manages to make hosing your fellows both light-hearted and fun - either as the hoser or the hosee. The dungeoneering theme and the extremely quick play time are just added icing on the cake.

I love this game. After watching the Dice Tower review for this game, I knew I would like it. After a couple of plays I was not dissapointed. Now if I can make time for the module that comes with one of the expansions.
