Love 8-player BSW 6 nimmt profi version, where cards can slide to the left, and have actually had the opportunity to play it in person too. It's chaotic and chore-y in person, so you need a game group of people.
-------
5/7 prefer profi! But 3/7 don't get it.
-------
artwork is terrible compared to 6nimmt, with numbers being especially difficult to read (is it a 66 or a 99), unless you can train yourself to always look at the top left. Get 6nimmt instead.

5-10 players, Fast Play time, Easy Rules, Fun time. I always get the feeling of "IMPENDING DOOM" when playing this. My copy is wearing out fast, and I'm considering making a custom deck.

Rules used:
Number of cards to use is (Players*10)+4. This means every card will be in the game. Downplays the luck and ups the strategy a bit.

Definitely one of the best quick, light card games there is. I can't get enough and would love to own a copy. Am considering creating a deck from extra Magic commons when I have some time.

Surprisingly, this stands as one of my favorite card games that I've played. It's a great blend of skill and chance and is short and fun enough to merit multiple back-to-back plays.

Flimsiest. Cards. Ever. The game definitely loses a point for that. And what was wrong with the old scoring rules ("game over when someone gets past 66")?

Still, a hell of a lot of card-sliding fun. Lots of laughter.

Plays the same as Category 5 but with a skier theme as opposed to a hurricane theme. It's a solid fun card game. The additional cheater game in the box is a crazy rule changing game as a bonus.

[Re-themed "6 Nimmt!"; my comment is the same.]
With 2-4 players it is an interesting game of decisions.
With 5+ players it is a sort of party game (I like it much more with 4 players).
Simple rules and no dead time (everyone chooses the card to play at the same time).
Fast paced. Quick.

A wonderful introduction to gaming for non-gamers. Have played this countless times at holiday gatherings and public gaming events.

Will always own some version of this: Category 5, Slide 5, 6 Nimmt!, The Walking Dead card game, etc. They're all identically awesome.

"Very good game. I like to play. Probably I'll suggest it and will never turn down a game."
Quick filler but a lot of fun. Easy to learn. Gets more chaotic with more players. Many players can play so it is a good one to bring to game night.

Have tried various ways to play- I.E.-all 104 cards, shuffling each time, also playing through without shuffling- just when deck runs out.

Also using exactly the number of cards per players in the game, plus 4 for the starting row- For example- 1 to 44 for 4P. This is my favorite way to play-very interesting.

(Aug 09 - after 1 6p game) This one had us laughing many times throughout. It is light and it is random/luck based. You can read the players and board -BUT only so much. This game is great to close out a night of game playing when you need a 30-45 min filler for a large group. I can also see this as good for "non-gamers" and will be given as gifts this year..

The main strength of this numerical card game is that it can accommodate up to ten people without causing a whole lot of extra downtime (since everyone plays simultaneously). Unlike a lot of huge-player games, you feel like you have some control over what's going on, too, though admittedly that is lessened toward higher player counts. Good fun without a lot of commitment.

Great game with the right boisterous group. One of the nice things about this set of similar games is the wealth of variants and variations to try - 6 Nimmt! and Category 5 both have some and Slide 5 has some new ones as well.

Not much to this game... but that's not exactly a bad thing. Makes for the perfect "filler" game. Takes about 20 minutes to play and about 5 minutes to teach, perfect for playing with "non-gaming" friends.

Having only played two-player, that might be part of the problem.

Edit: Definately better with more people.

Fun mechanic. A bit dry, but with the right group can elicit many groans and much chest-beating triumph. Also allows for some screwage, though it takes a while to figure out how to achieve that and much depends on luck. This is one of those games that rewards inspired guessing about what your opponents will (and can, depending on what's in their hands) do--whereupon you try to ensure that their move will cause them to take a bunch of points (like Hearts, the scoring is "reversed," with fewer points being better). I love that guessing element in a game.
