Not sure if I want to trade it, actually.

My decision is heavily influenced by what do you'll offer in trade, mainly wishlist items with rating of 1 or 2.

Rating based on my first demo game at the UK Expo, but I'm pretty confident it won't drop. Very enjoyable game of tile placement along with positioning your monks and collecting the letters to complete your word or phrase from the Lord's Prayer in Latin.

A fun game with various different elements; although it is described as a tile laying game this doesn't have the same feel as, say, Carcassonne, which is all about laying tiles; the movement of your monks and the buying of tiles and/or more monks is equally if not more important.

Bought this at the UK Game Expo yesterday (31/05/08) from the Ragnar Brothers stand, after playing a game with Steve. Really enjoyed it. Thanks to Steve for sitting in and showing us how to play. Although this plays okay with two players it is much better with three (and presumably four).

It's Ragnar Bros. 'nuff said!

This is actually a tough little game! There's a LOT to think about, although it doesn't seem so at first glance. It will take a couple of tries to play this one well--very subtle. Wrestling with the rules (odd organization) doesn't help.

It may look like Carcassonne, but it sure ain't Carcassonne!

Majdnem 9-est kapott a játék, egyedül a játék végi pontozás furcsa nekem.

Take Carcassonne, add several restrictions on where tiles can be placed and make the meeples mobile. Score every turn, and allow the purchase of end-game points with the score. Polish it up and you've got a gorgeous game, which is what Monastery is.
